Meet Your Board

The Exchange is governed by 16 board members. Each year eight are elected for two year terms by secret ballot. Board members receive no compensation and donate their time to improve our industry.

Larry Weber, Nichols Diamond Tool, Vice President and General Manager. Born on the Peninsula and lives on the peninsula. Worked for Nichols for 20 years starting as an operator and working up to management.

Jonathan Sweet - Jonathan J. Sweet is a practicing litigation and transactional attorney in San Jose, CA. Jonathan handles trials, meditations and arbitrations for contractors, subcontractors, owners, and architects, and is available to act as an arbitrator or mediator. He also serves as an expert witness and consultant in construction litigation. He is the author of AVOIDING OR MINIMIZING CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION and co-author of SWEET ON CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CONTRACTS/MAJOR AIA DOCUMENTS. Jonathan has taught Construction Law at USF, San Jose State, and Lincoln Law School of San Jose. He is a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the California Association of General Contractors. He received his B.A. Degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1978, and his J.D. Degree from the University of San Francisco in 1985.

Ron Saisi - Dryco Construction Co., Inc. Has been in the construction industry since 1979. Started with the PBX as a representative of The Raiser Organization, a design build development company well known for its commercial office complexes on the Peninsula. Serving on the board of directors since 1984. Two time past president of Peninsula Builders Exchange and currently Chief Estimator and Sales Manager for Dryco Construction Co., Inc.

Bill Sanborn

- Bill is President of C.H.A.S.E. since 1985 providing environmental and safety regulatory consultation and training to contractors and owners ranging from code interpretation through underground tanks, site closures and specialized filings for State and Federal agencies. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, a registered environmental assessor #002690 and OSHA 10/30 Instructor.
